Paul slept most of the day yesterday, and continued running a temperature of a little over 100 degrees axillary. He was awake for awhile in the late afternoon, so we did some leg exercises with him. We tried playing balloon volleyball, but he wasn't able to do that. He just didn't seem to have enough strength even in his good arm to bat at the balloon.

He did eat a pretty good lunch and supper yesterday. He also had some more strawberries and whipped cream for a bedtime snack. He fell asleep about 8:30, so we all went to bed about 9:00. He woke up about 11:00 coughing, so I gave him some Roxanol, changed the linens under him, and did a little cupping on his back. He then went back to sleep and didn't wake up til about 7:30 this morning.

His temperature this morning was 101.6 axillary. I gave him a tylenol suppository and washed him with a cool washcloth. It's now down to 100.0 (2 hours later). He was able to take his medicine this morning, but seemed to have more difficulty than usual swallowing the applesauce (which is what I put all the crushed meds in.) He wasn't interested in having anything for breakfast and is sleeping again now.
