Paul fell again on Wednesday afternoon, but that time he was in the hall upstairs so I had him crawl to the bathroom and use the sink to help pull himself up. Between the two of us, we were able to get him up ok. He fell again last night while his friend Bob was here. (Bob stayed with Paul while I went to pick up Mom from the train station.) They were able to get Paul up onto the couch ok.
Paul slept real well last night - didn't get up at all during the night, which is pretty unusual. He was a little agitated this morning - got mad at me when I tried to stop him from dumping the recycle bins into the yard waste bin - but he's doing fine now.
Philip has decided to terminate his employment as of March 1. He's been on leave without pay all this month. He hasn't been there long enough to qualify for the 3-month family medical leave, which is what I'm taking, so a month was all he was able to take. They have indicated they will rehire him when he's ready to go back to work.
