We went to see the therapist at U of C this morning, and when Paul told her that he has had a little bit of trouble bumping into people, etc., she suggested that he get a cane. That would be a signal to other people to watch out for him, as well as help him if he feels a little unsteady. We thought it was a great idea, so on the way home we stopped at a medical supply store and bought one. It's a nice mahogany colored wood cane.

She also suggested that we get a handicap parking permit, so Paul doesn't use up energy getting from the car to wherever he's going. I'm going to look into that as soon as I send this off and check my email.
